The SWOSU Build Event Training Conference for Students will take place November 2nd, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.  The first session starts at 8:30 am and the conference concludes at 2 pm.  

Spend some quality time learning tips and techniques to be successful in the following “Build” events Air Trajectory, Bungee Drop, Helicopter, Robot Tour, Material Science, Mission Possible, Scrambler, Tower, Electric Vehicle and Wind Power.

In addition, other Hybrid (written test plus demonstration) events will each have a session dedicated to their study. These events are Crime Busters, Forensics, Metric Mastery, Chem Lab, Potions and Poisons, and Experimental Design.

OKSciOly member Coaches will register members of their teams for specific sessions facilitated by Event Supervisors, Professors and Engineering Students from the SWOSU. 

Already have a device? Bring it to be tested test using competition protocols and receive tips and advice for future builds. Don’t have a ready-to-test device? The conference will be a great opportunity to get started or receive mentoring.

Coaches and team advisors are also invited to participate in training sessions, especially of they have an special interest or specialty.
