While the rest of the country was struggling to cope with severe winter weather, it was a beautiful Spring-like Saturday in Durant for the 4th annual Southeastern Oklahoma State University Invitational Science Olympiad Tournament. Teams from Tulsa, metro Oklahoma City, the DFW metroplex, and Amarillo spent the day competing in all 46 Division B and C events in this last tune-up before Texas Regional competition and the State Finals Tournament in Oklahoma.
If you weren’t able to make this tournament you missed one of the highlights in the OKSciOly season. One of the annual benefits for students (and Coaches) is free pizza, provided by the university in quantities sufficient for lunch and for the bus ride back home!
Next up – The OKSciOly State Finals Tournament! Join us on April 6th on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma. All Oklahoma Science Olympiad member teams are eligible to compete in the State Finals. Watch for details on OKSciOly Basecamp.
